Easter Ross Windows and Conservatories have over 30 years experience in
this business.
Formed in 1974 by David Joy, the company was initially involved in general
glazing work: supplying glass in cut sizes to public and trade customers, private
glazing contracts and larger public contacts including many housing schemes throughout
the north of Scotland.
Over the next 20 years the company moved into specialist glass work such as
manufacture of safety glass and double glazing units, manufacture of aluminium
windows and the supply of mirrors and ornamental glass.
These expansions, and changes in the market place, led to the use of PVCu as the
prime material for window and conservatory manufacture. The company was now well
established as one of the biggest replacement window firms in the North of Scotland
with literally 1000's of satisfied customers
.
Today, the firm is still very much a family concern with the general management
of the company secure in the hands of elder son Ian Joy, while other family members
are employed throughout the company.
